Breakfast at 7 am. Quick packing. By 9 am the ’orange’ comes from the aerodrome – a yellow passenger box truck on the chassis of ‘Ural’. We get aboard the truck and along with crews come to the airplanes. Besides the airplanes stand ‘happiness generators’ – aerodrome trucks with ‘sleeves’ to pump hot air into their cabins and turbines.

Our "great stick around in Vorkuta” continues. Weather at the Sredny island slowly improves. And on the contrary - it significantly worsens at the continent. Our two airplanes still have no chance to take off. The reason is that after unloading at the island the AN-72s should fly back to one of an aerodrome at the mainland.

Today we slept up to the limit at 9 am. It’s rather warm today – minus 14, but windy. There is no significant plans for today and we can visit shops and market to buy missing minor things.

According to the expression of Dmitry Kutalo the induced delay in the civilized environment lets us ‘to polish formula of comfort’.

We know that don’t fly today and thus feel relaxed. Breakfast – as usual. Pilots are going to the aerodrome and agreed to take along some of our team-mates as we always have some work with the vehicles. The whole support teams goes to the airport.

Vorkuta. We leave for breakfast and wait for an order from the airplanes commander Roman Tkach. Information comes at 9:20 am - weather is poor and will not improve until Thursday, Feb. 24. It’s across our plans but weather rules.

Fortunately for the last several days we had a chance to sleep in. Got up at about 9 am. Breakfast is included: salad, pancakes with condensed milk, porridge with butter a la carte and tea/bread without limit.
