KHAN - TENGRI

Designed specially for high altitude climbing. The legendary Khan-Tengri jacket has proved its excellent functionality on all eight thousand meter peaks around the world over the last twelve years. Khan-Tengri has been constantly refined from numerous expeditions including to the North and South Pole and up all seven thousand meter peaks of the former USSR.

Characteristics:

  • Light weight jacket (1200gr) and comfort rated to ( -35C0) with 700 F.P. white goose down insulation.
  • Windproof skirt inside to contain body warmth.
  • Draw cord at the bottom.
  • Double zip is covered from the outside and insulated from inside.
  • Large detachable hood with double adjustments secures snugly around the head.
  • Large cheek pads help insulate the face.
  • To avoid thread snapping special "closed " warm seams are used.
  • Down packets are isolated in the elbow, shoulder and side seams to keep the down in place.
  • Inner collar and cuffs are made from Polartec.
  • Two large outside, two inside and a special "warm "pocket sometimes allows the backpack to be dispensed with.
  • The central zip is protected with an insulated flap and Velcro.

It proved to be indispensable at the North and the South Pole last season, in Alaska and on the summit of Cho Oyu (Nepal). It is ideal for extreme winter performance. It provides maximum free-movement due to its ergonomic design. Three outer and four inner pockets. High warm collar with Polartec fabric. Cuffs with thumb loops made of Wind bloc, inner insulating "skirt". This highly innovative design is destined to become an "essential" for explorers or adventurers on the way to the poles and high mountain peaks in years to come.

MANASLU

Down extreme insulated suit designed for high altitude para-sailing, parachuting and mountaineering, tested on many Himalayan, North & South Pole expeditions. The elbow is anatomically shaped with a Polar fleece cuff. Two zips with flaps ensure the suit does not need to be removed in extreme conditions. Snow gaiters inside the pants prevent snow entering the boots. Can be folded into a small compression sack. Ideal for situations where the user has to be manoeuvrable, with low exertion keeping the wearer comfortable in extreme low temperatures.

NORTHWIND

Designed specially for high altitude climbing and ideally combined with the legendary KHAN-TENGRI jacket (# 1294). Down box wall construction salopettes, two outer pockets, two zips with a bottom flap. There are snow gaiters inside the pants to stop snow entering the boots. These salopettes have stood on, or crawled up, all the worlds 8,000 meter peaks.
